Andrew Sperring

CEO

Andrew is the Founder and Director of JAS Building Services, bringing over 20 years of experience in construction, project leadership, and business management.

An award-winning carpenter by trade, Andrew progressed into managing major residential and commercial builds across the UK, including senior project roles within a global facilities management firm. Since returning to Bristol in 2012, he has focused on building JAS into a structured, professionally managed residential construction company serving Bristol and surrounding areas.

APMP-qualified and systems-driven, Andrew oversees strategic direction, governance, and quality standards across all projects. His focus is clear: deliver transparent, well-managed builds that restore confidence in the construction process through accountability, communication, and long-term client relationships.

Zara Sperring

Accounts Manager

Zara manages the financial administration of JAS Building Services. She oversees invoicing, supplier payments, and financial controls to ensure projects remain structured and professionally managed.

Her attention to detail and organisational oversight help ensure the business operates with financial stability and integrity.

Dominic Rowe

Project manager

Dominic leads project delivery across our residential renovation and extension projects. With extensive site management experience, he ensures every build runs efficiently, safely, and to programme.

He works closely with clients, architects, and subcontractors to maintain clear communication from start to finish. Dominic’s structured approach and attention to detail help ensure our projects meet the high standards JAS is known for.

Kieran Beaton

Sales Executive

Kieran works with clients from initial enquiry through to quotation stage. He conducts site surveys, prepares detailed estimates, and ensures clients clearly understand scope, costs, and timelines before work begins.

His focus is on clarity and transparency, helping clients make informed decisions with confidence.

Val Cross

Administrator

Val supports both the sales and project delivery teams with scheduling, documentation, and client communication. She ensures that enquiries, planning documents, and project records are handled efficiently and professionally.

Her coordination helps keep projects moving smoothly behind the scenes.

Jim Sperring

Site Manager / Foreman

Founder of JAS Building Services as family business.

Jim brings decades of hands-on construction experience to the team. As Foreman, he oversees site operations daily, ensuring workmanship meets our quality standards and health & safety procedures are strictly followed.

His practical knowledge, calm leadership, and commitment to detail are invaluable in delivering projects that clients are proud of.

Sam Sperring

Projects Supervisor

Sam followed Jim for about 10 years as a multi trader and he has taken on the SMSTS programme to become a site manager and now Project Supervisor. Sam supports on-site operations, working alongside the project manager and foreman to maintain build quality and timelines. He ensures day-to-day site activity runs safely and efficiently.

Tony Walker

Working Supervisor

Tony brings over 40 years of construction experience to JAS Building Services. As a Working Supervisor specialising in carpentry and multi-trade, he leads projects with calm authority and deep technical knowledge.

Tony plays a key role in mentoring and upskilling our team, supporting apprentices and developing the next generation of skilled tradespeople. His leadership on site ensures projects are delivered with precision, safety, and consistency.

Scott Harris

Working Supervisor

Scott is an experienced Working Supervisor with decades of hands-on construction expertise. Specialising in carpentry and multi-trade, he leads projects with a practical, solutions-focused mindset.

Known for his strong work ethic and reliability, Scott ensures projects stay on track while maintaining the quality standards our clients expect.

Harley Proctor

Working Supervisor

Harley specialises in high-quality carpentry and multi-trade work, often leading smaller projects where detail and finish are critical.

Highly self-driven and quality-focused, Harley takes pride in delivering precise, well-executed craftsmanship that reflects the standards of JAS Building Services.

Guyon Bryant

Working Supervisor

Guyon leads projects specialising in plastering, masonry, and multi-trade work. A natural communicator and strong team leader, he prioritises both workmanship and client experience.

His approachable style and attention to service ensure clients feel supported and informed throughout the build process.

Aaron Souch

General Builder

Aaron progressed through JAS from labourer to apprentice to fully qualified bricklayer and general builder.

His journey reflects our commitment to developing talent internally. Today, Aaron is a reliable and capable team member who supports site leads with professionalism and consistency across projects.

Finnley Anderson

Carpenter

Finnley also progressed through the ranks from labourer to apprentice to a skilled, self-sufficient carpenter.

Often entrusted with smaller projects independently, Finnley demonstrates strong technical ability and responsibility while supporting wider site operations.

Ewan Dawson

Carpenter Apprentice

Ewan is developing his carpentry skills under the guidance of our experienced site supervisors. Committed and hardworking, he continues to build his technical knowledge while contributing positively to site operations.

Dan Hancock

Carpenter

Dan is a dependable and self-sufficient carpenter who works effectively across multiple projects. A strong team player, he collaborates well with other trades to ensure builds progress smoothly and efficiently.

Thomas Owen

Plasterer Apprentice

Thomas is a driven and positive plastering apprentice supporting our in-house wet trades team. Always eager to learn, he contributes across projects and brings added value with his plant operation skills when required.

Matt Joyce

Carpenter

Matt is a skilled carpenter with particular strength in second-fix work, delivering high-quality finishes across our projects. He supports multiple sites, ensuring consistent standards are maintained throughout the build programme.

Matt Finch

Brick Layer

Matt is a driven and quality-focused bricklayer delivering precise brick and block work across our projects. He also supports groundworks and wider site activities, bringing versatility and reliability to the team.

Jarone Powell

General Builder

Jarone supports a range of building activities across our projects, contributing to smooth site operations and maintaining high standards of workmanship.

Craig Pickford

Skilled Labourer

Craig supports our wet trades teams with site preparation and coordination, helping maintain productivity and quality across plastering and masonry operations.

Craig Nichols

Skilled Labourer

Craig is a skilled labourer with a strong focus on groundworks, block work, and structural steel installation. He plays an important role in supporting the early and structural phases of our projects, ensuring sites are properly prepared and foundations are delivered to specification.

Reliable and hardworking, Craig contributes across multiple build stages, providing essential support to our supervisors and trades to keep projects progressing safely and efficiently.

Carpenter

Tom is a highly effective Site Lead specialising in carpentry and multi-trade, with particular expertise in loft conversions.

Hardworking and quality-driven, Tom oversees site delivery, ensuring projects meet programme timelines and workmanship standards.

Wilfred Blomfield

Carpenter

Wilfred is a versatile carpenter skilled in both first and second-fix work. He supports site leads in delivering structural and finishing carpentry to the high standards expected on JAS projects.
